Ok I have a part that I am going to donate (GM HEI module for the cam position sensor) and I cannot find a price for the specific brand that it is.

Here is the thing, I found an ebay auction that has one but it is going for way less than what it would be at a parts store.

parts store - $30
Ebay auction - $8+6shipping (item number 290030852847)

Although it is a niehoff module, can we report the price for the equivalent, such as a beck-arnley one, or can we just use that ebay auction?

All costs must be retail cost of a new part, or so says the rules. So unless that eBay one is a new part from a supplier who just happens to use ebay is their sales medium (as opposed to a guy who had a spare one laying around and decided to sell it), I don't think it will work.

there is a link to a retail priced one, but the guy with the auction did have several for sale. Oh well I printed both, and bob can decide which one to use in the cost report.
